Thirty French firms are interested in investing in green hydrogen in Egypt, according to Dr. Dalia Samir, the managing director of Hydrogen Egypt.
Egypt has major projects in the Suez Canal economic zone, Dr. Dalia Samir noted.
Although green hydrogen is now expensive, she explained that eventually, it will become affordable for everyone and that using it will result in good returns on state projects.
European businesses are eager to invest in green hydrogen in Egypt, according to the managing director of Egypt’s Hydrogen. She also emphasized that Egyptian businesses and their European counterparts can communicate electronically about green hydrogen within the existing platform.
